III. Unit Standards, Goals, and Objectives
UNIT GOAL: Students will be able to compare and contrast items in order to transform those items into a new concept.
Lesson 1 Goal:
Students can compare and contrast biological and mechanical objects by selecting pictures from magazines and creating a new creature/image that has a different purpose.
Lesson 2 Goal:
Students can compare and contrast deconstructed material and transform material into a newly reconstructed creature.
Lesson 3 Goal:
Students will observe different perspectives of their creature and transform their 3D creature into a 2D drawing by comparing and contrasting their drawing to their creature.
